About three years ago, I signed up to become a Franchise Dealer (FD) of Avon through my classmate Lorene. I got inspired to join this company because I have been a product user since high school and got hooked since then.
After graduation, my manager, ms. Sobrino asked if I could become one of her unit managers. I declined her proposal thinking that I would be busy with exams and everything.
Three days ago, I was asked again by Ms. Beth and since I have the plans of letting my savings grow, I agreed. We talked and she told me that I need to recruit 21 dealers so I can reach the target quota of P33,000 for this month. I was apprehensive at first because I thought, my gosh where should I find people who will be my downline? However, Ms. Beth was positive and promised to help me find these people as long as I will also have my share of the effort. I told her yes.
That night, I sent a message a few friends who are willing to join my group or just be a personal user of the products. Some were reluctant and others gave me a little reassurance that they will join.
Nevertheless, I kept my high spirits on and worked out the plans I have in mind.
First thing was to ask my mom to go to Naga and be my first ever recruit. She signed up yesterday with full of enthusiasm. She also got her sign-up gift and started looking out for customers. And just yerterday afternoon, she met up with Aunt Olet from Calabanga and introduced the brochure. Wow, my mom was able to convince her and finally decided on ordering a set of white gold jewelry costing around P1,200!
My mom is very busy now going to my Auntie’s house for more orders. I believe in my mom’s capability to sell the products because she has the ability to use her convincing power and at the same time, her energy towards the selling project was abundant. Good luck to her.
Oh at 10am this morning, I will also meet up with my good friend, Nina because she also wants to become my FD. She’ll sign up and begin to look for buyers! Wish me luck too!
